Baltimore Swarm Box Lacrosse Program Expansion

Baltimore Swarm launched its box lacrosse program in 2024, and due to its initial success, we are excited to continue and grow the offering for 2025. The program began with teams for 5th/6th and 7th/8th grade players, and this year, we are expanding to include a 9th/10th grade team. We believe box lacrosse is a fantastic way to develop skills that translate to the outdoor game, as well as to introduce players to the fast-paced excitement of box play with shot clocks and challenging shooting environments.

Our goal is for every participant to discover a love for box lacrosse, just as our current players have. Box lacrosse training with Swarm is open to any player in the Baltimore area who wants to learn or improve their box skills. We are offering eight training sessions on Sunday mornings in the Towson, MD area from October 26 to December 21, with a total cost of $240. After the training, Swarm will form at least three teams, organized on an a la carte basis, to compete in two tournaments scheduled for January. Tournament fees will be divided evenly among participating players.
